Happy New Year!!

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer.  We are about to have a little break here, to enable us to spruce the place up a bit, and a little bit of time to relax.

The Fryers Street Food Store & The Teller Collective will be completely closed from the 18th of January.  

The Food Store will reopen for breakfast from 7am on Monday the 1st of Feb.

The Collective will reopen for dinner at 6pm on Tuesday the 2nd of Feb.

Hampers hampers hampers

Christmas Day Lunch

Once again the teller collective will be hosting lunch on Christmas day.  Bookings will be available from 12 noon for a set menu at $75 or $90 per person (children $35).  

The menu is as follows:

Duck consomme

House smoked salmon

Optional: oysters, Australian prawns, Moreton Bsy bugs (additional $15)

Choice of roast turkey or suckling pork with trimmings

Choice of traditional Christmas pudding or chocolate plate

Closed Melbourne Cup Day

Just a quick note to let you know both the Fryers Street Food Store and the Collective restaurant will be closed all day on Tuesday the 3rd of November for Melbourne Cup Day.  Enjoy the break and we'll see you as usual Wednesday the 4th.


Father's Day 2015

We will once again be hosting a Father's day lunch at the collective restaurant.  We are offering a three-course menu for $55 per person.  Bookings are essential an can be made by calling 5822 4660.  The menu for the day will be as follows:


Soft shell crab taco, sour cream, herbs

Arancini, saffron, smoked mozzarella cheese

Spanish style chicken skewers

Southern style bbq pork ribs, bourbon glaze



Crispy pork belly, celeriac mash, quince

Pan fried ocean trout, Jerusalem artichoke puree, roast seasonal vegetables, crispy leeks, brown butter

Porterhouse steak 250g potato gratin, confit garlic

Rump steak 400g potato gratin, confit garlic



Couverture chocolate fondant, salted caramel chocolate fudge, chocolate ice cream, hazelnut praline

Lime meringue ‘in a jar’

Quince, apple & custard crumble, honeycomb ice cream
